Terms of service
Last updated September 30, 2026
These terms govern your use of RouteCheetah. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent.
Accounts
- You must give accurate information and keep your password and API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and your organization's keys.
- Organization owners control who has access, their roles, and the organization's data.
Plans, trials, and billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until canceled. Team and Business plans are billed per active driver, with a minimum number of drivers; changes in drivers are prorated.
- Free trials end on the date shown in the app. If you don't subscribe, your account moves to the Free plan and its limits apply; your data is not deleted.
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel in Plan & billing. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Prices exclude taxes, which are added where applicable. We will give at least 30 days' notice of price changes.
Your data
You own the data you put into RouteCheetah. You give us permission to host, process, and display it only to provide and improve the service for you. You can export your records at any time. Our privacy policy describes how we handle information.
Your responsibilities
- Use RouteCheetah lawfully. Don't use it to transport prohibited goods, harass anyone, or interfere with the service.
- If you turn on customer text messages, you are responsible for having recipients' consent to be contacted and for honoring opt-outs, as required by laws such as the TCPA.
- Tell your drivers that their location is shared with your organization while a route is in progress, and follow laws that apply to monitoring workers.
- Drivers must follow traffic laws. Never use the app in a way that distracts from driving safely. Route suggestions and ETAs are estimates, not instructions.
- If you handle regulated items, such as medical specimens or prescriptions, you are responsible for meeting the rules that apply to them.
API use
API access is subject to reasonable rate limits and these terms. Don't use the API to build a competing product or to bypass plan limits.
Availability and changes
We work to keep RouteCheetah available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may improve or change features; we won't remove a core feature of a paid plan during your billing period without notice.
Termination
You can stop using RouteCheetah at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or don't pay, with notice when practical. After termination you can request an export of your data for 30 days.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, RouteCheetah is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of [State] without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms; we will notify account owners of material changes before they take effect.
Credits
The app's sign-in sound is a cheetah snarl and growl from "Calls of adult cheetahs," recorded by Smirnova DS, Volodin IA, Demina TS, and Volodina EV for Acoustic Structure and Contextual Use of Calls by Captive Male and Female Cheetahs (Acinonyx jubatus), PLOS ONE (2016), used under CC BY 4.0. We cut the growl and the hiss before it (the snarl) from it, faded them in and out, and adjusted their level.
